One of the first things you can do is to create an ad promoting your Page. To do that, click the three dots at the top menu bar above your posts and select “Create Ad.” From there, Facebook will let you start creating an ad from scratch based on your goals -- things like reach, traffic, or general brand awareness. Choose yours, then scroll down and click “continue.”
While these models have diminished in mature e-commerce and online advertising markets they are still prevalent in some more nascent industries. China is one example where Affiliate Marketing does not overtly resemble the same model in the West. With many affiliates being paid a flat "Cost Per Day" with some networks offering Cost Per Click or CPM.
Consider your expertise. If you take the time to reflect on your experiences, you will realize that you have more knowledge about which to write than you might think. Begin by listing three assets that define you, such as your profession, a special hobby or a personality trait. Next, list three things that inspire you, such as religion, education or charity. Finally, list three of your dreams, such as getting married, traveling or spending more time with your children. These three lists should give you many ideas of topics about which you can write.
Online marketing platform (OMP) is an integrated web-based platform that combines the benefits of a business directory, local search engine, search engine optimisation (SEO) tool, customer relationship management (CRM) package and content management system (CMS). Ebay and Amazon are used as online marketing and logistics management platforms. On Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and other Social Media, retail online marketing is also used. Online business marketing platforms such as Marketo, Aprimo, MarketBright and Pardot have been bought by major IT companies (Eloqua-Oracle, Neolane-Adobe and Unica-IBM).
All that is to say that Facebook is still a juggernaut when it comes to interacting with consumers. While Instagram (owned by Facebook, by the way) is getting a lot of love from merchants and affiliates alike (check out our Instagram Guide here), companies looking to reach as many potential reps as possible shouldn’t ignore Big Blue. Here’s one key stat to chew on: the average Instagram user spends 24 to 32 minutes each day on the platform; on Facebook, it’s 27 to 41 minutes.
Better yet, you can even upload your own book to one of the world’s largest book sellers: Amazon. With Amazon self-publishing, you set the price, retain the rights to your book, and get access to Amazon’s massive audience. For every sale, you keep 70% with Amazon taking the remainder as a fee. When writing this guide, we reached out to the marketer community to collect case studies and learnings about creative marketing strategies. Most of these examples are included throughout the guide, but some didn’t quite fit. So we included those loose ends here, from the perspective of four awesome marketers. 4. Post an affiliate link in Facebook groups you’re a part of. Some Facebook groups will be excellent places to share your links. Others will delete your posts and/or remove you from the group for advertising. Make sure you know the rules of the group before you post your link, to avoid such issues. If necessary, share links to your site instead of your affiliate links themselves.
This may be so, but it doesn’t mean that there isn’t a place for you somewhere in it. Additionally, as with most industries, the landscape is constantly shifting and changing. If you go about affiliate marketing today with the mindset people had five years ago, then you might run into issues. But if you know today’s trends and can forecast what’s coming up in the industry, you’ll have a much better chance of success.
Writing blog posts is especially effective for providing different opportunities to land on page one of search engines -- for instance, maybe your eyeglass store’s website is on page three of Google for “eyeglasses,” but your “Best Sunglasses of 2018” blog post is on page one, pulling in an impressive amount of traffic (over time, that blog post could also boost your overall website to page one).
The more variety you have in the types of post you create on Facebook, the better. So, you could stand a better chance of drawing in a bigger audience if you add some video content to your Facebook page. Videos are a good way to engage your audience and you can create reviews or tutorials focused on the products you want to promote via affiliate links.

Find a profitable niche. Starting with your interests, write down as many niche ideas as you can. Think about topics people might search online. Ideas include passions (like surfing or body building), fears (like spiders or speaking in front of crowds) and problems (like getting out of debt). The direct affiliate marketing approach aims to promote products and services in posts. For example, you create a Facebook post about a book that you read and include an affiliate link from Amazon.com. Whoever clicks on the link will go straight to Amazon. By contrast, the indirect approach aims to direct traffic offsite where affiliate links are present. For instance, you create a Facebook post about the best marketing tools and add a link to your blog.
If you have a background in marketing and a passion for a particular niche, then organizing a virtual event may be just up your street. A virtual event could span across a day or longer. Your own business page. Sort of a no-brainer here: you’ll want to post your affiliate offer regularly to your page so your fans and visitors will see it. What’s not a no-brainer is the posts you create around the landing page link, because posting the same thing over and over again is a sure-fire way to be boring and annoy your audience. That’s why you should a/b test multiple posts and track engagement to see which performs better. Switch up the image, the text, even the offer; and see what combinations get the most new sign-ups.

Before you can have a custom URL (i.e, facebook.com/mybusinessname/) you'll need to get 25 fans (people who have clicked the "Like" button on the top of your fan page). You can start by telling the people who are friends on your profile page know about the fan page. You can invite them specifically or you can post about the page on your profile feed. Be careful about inviting people to like your page, as sometimes this can annoy people. Make sure that whoever you invite is someone who is interested in what your fan page has to offer.
