Amy, what I’m trying to figure out is how to get the Amazon product image from a blog post to show up as a thumbnail when I share that post on Facebook. For instance, I recommend lots of books on my blog. I use the Amazon Affiliate images of those books in my post. When I share the post on FB, the book images do not show up as a thumbnail option. So, in a post where my only images are those of books (from Amazon), the only thumbnail option I have for sharing on FB is my lovely, smiling face. 🙂 I don’t want to use my face as the thumbnail, but I don’t want to share a post without a pic. 2. From what I can tell Facebook doesn't like affiliate marketing through advertising anymore.
